Dr. Maranda Griffin, LMHC, LPC, QMHC-S - Clinical Consultant

Dr. Maranda Griffin, LMHC, LPC, QMHC-S is formally trained in Counselor Education, Counseling and Psychology, and Elementary Education.

In her years of state service in behavioral health, she secured and administered grants that directly impacted substance abuse prevention and treatment services. Noted accomplishments include securing and managing multi-million-dollar grants, fostering systems change, and facilitating strategic planning. Her community work encompasses services in prisons, jails, community agencies, university counseling centers, and private practice including telehealth. In higher education, she has provided master's level instruction and administration at an HBCU, a tier-one research institution, state universities, and for-profit universities. She is an active SAMHSA grant reviewer with expertise in SAMHSA SABG and Discretionary grants management, policy development, health disparities, prevention, treatment, and strategic planning.

In her federal service to our country, her twenty-two-year career spanned positions as Director of Equal Opportunity, Force Support Officer, Education, and Training Officer, and Information Management Craftsman. In addition to her career specialty, she served as a Family Liaison Officer, SAPR Victim Advocate, EO Leader Course Facilitator, and NGB EO SAV Team member.
